Phycomycosis or Pythium is a systemic fungal infection which progresses so rapidly
that euthanasia or extremely costly surgeries
(with a low success rate) become the only options.
This fungus is naturally occurring in soil and is frequently misdiagnosed as proud flesh, sarcoid or summer sore. Biscuit's foot had progressed to the horrendous state (above) in only two weeks! It was debrided 4 times -
(surgically scraped to remove as much as possible)
but would grow back again within a couple days. The pictures above are at five weeks - right before the fifth debriding.
Traditional treatment didn't even arrest this problem.

One prevalent sign in an advanced state is the bad smell
Sue Copeland, President and owner of the miniature decided to try our formula for one week with no other traditional treatment, ending the antibiotics and iodine scrubs. She had pretty much resigned in her mind that Biscuit would need to be euthanized - regardless.

Amazingly, just 2 days after his 5th debridment, the phycomycosis Pithium had changed after applying Fungus Free to the wound. It was no longer growing and in just 7 days the Phycomycosis was replaced with healthy pink granulation tissue.  One third of his hoof wall had been surgically removed also, due to spreading.  The dramatic replacement of strong hoof wall is evident in the "one month after" photo. Biscuit completely recovered.

Without little Biscuit, it may have never come to light that our blend of oils could aid others.
This was a very important mission Biscuit was sent to us for .
We now have made it our mission to
"not let one more horse die from this".
In this, our will is as strong as his has been.
Biscuit is over 30 years old.
