CANINE USE: SHAKE BOTTLE BEFORE EACH USE Apply sparingly directly on hot spots (including inside pads) or from off your hands rubbed together on irritated or raw spots. Apply twice per day as needed. Dogs may lick off, keep them otherwise occupied for a few minutes to let it absorb into skin.

PREVENTIVE USE CANINE/EQUINE: SHAKE BOTTLE Apply to areas prone to dandruff, rain rot, thrush or at the first sign of itching - before they become problematic.
*USE CAUTION with outside animals in the sun, i.e. muzzle, near eyes or white faced horses. Use after periods of rain BEFORE problems recur.
EQUINE USE
RAIN ROT, SCURF, DEW POISONING, BED or PRESSURE SORES,
ALL WOUNDS: SHAKE BOTTLE Apply a half dollar size amount to your palm, rub hands together to apply to about 2 foot x 2 foot area. Rub against the grain of hair and work it in twice per day. Gently curry every second or third application.
WASH AREA with gentle soap every other day or so. Dry before re-applying Fungus Free. Suggest a 4 oz. bottle - may last two weeks - one month, depending on size of area you are treating.
*This product may safely be used under bandaging, but it is strongly recommended to change bandages twice per day, re-applying each change.
THRUSH, WHITE LINE: SHAKE BOTTLE
CLEAN affected hoof well with pick & brush clean. Apply to frog (4-6 drops) twice per day. Be sure to drop into deepest holes/crevices. May be used after hoof resections. Apply in & around old nail holes & chips twice after Farrier visits as precaution. When Thrush is caught early, it may require only a few applications. Suggest a 2 oz. bottle.
PYTHIUM, FLORIDA LEECHES, SWAMP CANCER, PHYCOMYCOSIS: It is extremely important to catch this early, as systemic (Carried through the bloodstream) infections are difficult to fight and can take months. Many times misdiagnosed as summer sore.
SHAKE BOTTLE
Gently clean the area with CHLORAHEXIDINE (Blue-antifungal/antimicrobial scrub) & pat dry . Apply Fungus Free liberally to area and keep bandaged if feasible and safe. Re-apply & rebandage twice daily until healthy pink tissue is seen. Also keep styptic powder on hand as "Kunkers" may cause bleeding at the exit site. Do not pick at these. Styptic powder will help stop any bleeders. Apply Fungus Free & place a tiny amount of styptic on top of Fungus Free.
Be aware the styptic will burn. Use cautions with the placement of your body & knees. KUNKERS WILL FALL OUT IN TIME.
APPLY FUNGUS FREE TOPICALLY UP TO FOUR TIMES A DAY SAFELY.
