Sue Copeland, President;
has lived with and loved horses all of her life. A true equestrian, she has raised horses, trained them, shown them and, most importantly, cared for and loved them. Through traumatic personal experience with her own miniature horse, Bisquit (see Bisquit's story), Ms. Copeland's love and determination set her on the path to find an alternative treatment for Bisquit, who was ravaged by Pythium/Florida Leeches. Aided by her father and friends, her sheer will, determination and exhaustive research resulted in the development of FIVE STAR FUNGUS FREE, LLC - the natural and organic herbal product which alleviated this dreaded fungal infection.
Sue Copeland's innate knowledge of equine behavior and her astute human interest has also resulted in the creation of Hopes, Dreams and Horses, a therapeutic riding program helping a myriad of children and adults learn and heal by interaction with horses. Her efforts in the arena have been recognized, and Hopes, Dreams and Horses has been the beneficiary of The Grand Slam KDW Fishing Tournament for numerous seasons, The Jupiter Horsemen's Association, The Gold Coast Arabian Horse Club of FL and the WZZR Charity Golf Tournament. Ms. copeland was also voted the North Palm Beach Woman of the Year 2002. Her popular program has been featured in the Palm Beach Post, Jupiter Courier and most recently in the Jupiter Magazine, December '06.
In addition to her Hopes, Dreams and Horses program, Sue oversees the training of students in hunter/jumper disciplines and the care of her boarders' horses. Sue's two daughters are also involved with many of the horse programs. Ms. Copeland is also the founder and president of Lazer Signs, a full service sign company.
